Complete one test in each subject plus one writing task under timed conditions. At Year 9–10 entry level, the EduTest expects higher performance than Year 7 entry. Identify which components are strongest and which need the most work — this shapes your entire preparation strategy.
Older students often have stronger curriculum-based skills (Reading, Maths) but may be unfamiliar with Verbal Reasoning and Numerical Reasoning. Start the Verbal Reasoning Mastery course immediately (3–4 lessons per week). Rotate through the other components with 2–3 tests per week. Add Vocabulary lessons and Daily Paragraph Editing exercises alongside.
For Year 9–10 entry, the EduTest places particular emphasis on reasoning ability. Written Expression at Year 9–10 level requires more sophisticated vocabulary, complex sentence structures, and well-developed arguments.
