Everything your child needs to prepare for the EduTest used by all three Queensland Academies — covering all five test components with vocabulary, grammar, and comprehension support.
Complete one test in each subject plus one writing task under timed conditions. Review all solutions to identify which of the five components are strongest and which need attention. This shapes your entire preparation strategy.
Set a consistent schedule: 3–4 sessions per week (25–35 minutes each). Rotate through Verbal Reasoning, Numerical Reasoning, Reading, and Maths. Add Daily Paragraph Editing (3–4 per week) and Vocabulary lessons (3 per week). One writing task per fortnight with model response comparison.
Strong vocabulary directly improves three EduTest components: Verbal Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, and Written Expression. The Foundation and Advanced Vocabulary courses build this systematically. The 50 Poetry comprehension tests develop inference and close-reading skills at a level that transfers directly to EduTest reading passages.
After 4 weeks of balanced practice, patterns will emerge. If Numerical Reasoning is weaker, increase the proportion of maths practice. If Verbal Reasoning needs work, spend more time on vocabulary and word-relationship exercises. The breadth of material in this pack allows you to adjust the balance as needed.
In the final 4–6 weeks, run full timed sessions covering multiple EduTest components back-to-back. The EduTest is approximately 3 hours total — stamina matters. Build up gradually to full-length practice sessions under quiet, exam-like conditions.
Tests the ability to understand and reason with language. Includes analogies, word relationships, and logical deductions using verbal information.

The three Queensland Academies — QASMT (Science, Mathematics and Technology in Toowong), QACI (Creative Industries in Kelvin Grove), and QAHS (Health Sciences in South Brisbane) — are among Queensland's most selective and highest-performing schools. They offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) program and select students through the EduTest, a comprehensive aptitude and achievement test with five components for Year 7 entry.
Selection for Queensland Academies is holistic. The EduTest is the primary assessment (typically weighted at 50–60% of the decision), supplemented by NAPLAN results, school reports, and in some cases an interview. Acceptance rates are competitive — approximately 10–15% of applicants receive offers, with 8–12 applicants per Year 7 place at QASMT. There is no published cut-off score, which means preparation across all five components is important rather than focusing on one area alone.
This Super Pack provides the breadth needed for genuine EduTest preparation. The 400+ tests and exercises cover all five components, the 20 writing tasks address the Written Expression section that many students under-prepare for, and the vocabulary and poetry courses build the language foundations that strengthen performance across Verbal Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, and Written Expression simultaneously.
Choose the pack that best fits your child's preparation needs and timeline.
