HAST results are reported as percentile rankings
Your HAST score is reported as a percentile, comparing your performance to other test-takers. A 75th percentile means you scored better than 75% of students.
You receive separate percentile scores for Abstract Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, and Quantitative Skills, plus an overall composite score.
Some schools use stanine scores (1-9 scale) derived from percentiles. Stanines 7-9 are considered above average.
