Why this course

Maths builds like a ladder.

When the early skills are shaky, everything above them feels hard. This course starts with the building blocks and rises step by step to problem-solving, so gaps get filled before they turn into bigger ones.

One skill at a time

Each video teaches a single skill in about five minutes, so your child can watch, practise and move on without a long sit-down session.

A quiz after every lesson

All 41 lessons end with their own quiz, over 600 questions in total, so your child practises the skill straight after seeing it taught.

Worked solutions for every question

Every question has a full worked solution in plain, step-by-step language. When an answer is wrong, your child can see exactly where the method went off track.

Starts at the right level

A Year 3 student can begin with arithmetic while a Year 6 student moves on to ratio and percentages. It stays useful as your child moves up through primary school.

Suggested study plan

One topic a week for 10 weeks.

The course is laid out week by week, but it is fully self-paced. Younger children can spend longer on the early weeks; older children can move quickly through what they already know.

Weekly time: Between 10 and 35 minutes of video a week, plus a short quiz after each lesson.

If a quiz goes badly, rewatch the lesson and read the worked solutions before moving on. A week that takes two weeks is fine.

Weeks 1–3

Number foundations

The four operations, order of operations, rounding, factors, multiples and primes.

Weeks 4–6

Fractions, ratio and related calculations

Comparing and multiplying fractions, sharing in a ratio, and using one known fact to work out others.

Weeks 7–9

Decimals, percentages and more fractions

Calculating with decimals and percentages, converting between them, and adding, subtracting and dividing fractions, including questions about money and measurement.

Week 10

Sequences

Linear, Fibonacci-style and unusual number patterns.

Who builds it

Papers written by practising teachers.

The papers, the videos and the writing rubric all come from the same faculty who teach our live selective classes. Marked writing uses hybrid AI + teacher marking: the Braintree Coaching AI Model applies that rubric as a first pass, and a qualified tutor confirms every qualitative judgement before parents see it on the LMS.
