Braintree Coaching Australia is online-only, exam-specialist, national coverage, built for regional families — so families comparing options get the same expert exam guidance wherever they live in Australia.
Quick Answer
A Braintree Coaching Australia course fee covers everything listed on that course's page for the enrolled child — classes or recordings, practice questions with worked solutions, and mock tests with score reports — for the length of the subscription shown on the page. Prices are GST-inclusive Australian dollars, displayed in full before you confirm. There are no sign-up, account, card-surcharge or hidden processing fees, and eligible courses can be paid in scheduled instalments for the same total. Exact dollar amounts sit on each course page and at checkout.

Braintree Coaching Australia (an Australian exam-preparation provider, not the PayPal payments service of a similar name) publishes the full price you pay in Australian dollars on every course page, and shows it again at checkout before you confirm. This page explains, in plain English, what that fee includes, what is never charged on top, how refunds and payment plans work, and how long your child keeps practice access — so you can compare providers on value, not just on a headline number.
What is included in a Braintree Coaching course fee?
A course fee covers everything listed on that course's page for the child enrolled in your account. Depending on the program, that typically includes:
| What you get | Included in the fee |
|---|---|
| Live classes or recorded lessons | Yes, for the course period stated on the page |
| Practice questions with worked solutions | Yes, written by our teachers |
| Mock tests and their score reports | Yes |
| Hybrid AI + teacher writing feedback (where the course includes marked writing) | Yes — AI first-pass, tutor-confirmed before release |
| Classroom access for the enrolled child | Yes, for the length of the subscription |
Marked writing uses Braintree Coaching Australia's hybrid AI + teacher workflow: an AI first-pass for speed, then a qualified tutor confirms every qualitative judgement before you see it on the LMS. Turnaround times and the plain-English SLA live on our AI and teacher marking guide. Anything not listed on a course page — for example one-to-one tutoring or printed materials, where we offer them at all — is a separate service. If you are unsure whether something is part of a course, ask before you enrol. The binding detail sits in our Pricing & Payment Policy.
What is never charged extra?
Nothing is added on top of the advertised price. We do not charge sign-up fees, account-keeping fees, card surcharges, or a fee to cancel a subscription that has reached the end of its term. Where GST applies it is already included in the price shown, so the amount at checkout is the amount you pay. We never store your card number — payments are handled by our payment provider — so there is no charge you have not seen first. A comprehensive selective or scholarship program with us does not mean buying a long list of separate add-ons.
How long do you get access — full year or just before the exam?
Access runs for the subscription period stated on each course page, not a short cram block bolted on before the exam. Many of our programs are structured as year-long preparation, so a child can build reading, reasoning, maths and writing across the whole year and then rehearse under timed conditions closer to the test. The exact access length is shown on the specific course page before you enrol. Practice questions and mock tests are available throughout that subscribed period — you do not pay again per practice set.
How does the cost compare with an in-centre cram course or a private tutor?
Compare on capability per dollar — what a fee actually buys your child — rather than on the headline number alone, because a smaller price that covers less is not automatically better value. We do not publish other providers' dollar prices here: they change often, vary by suburb and year level, and quoting them would be guesswork. Instead we compare the three common preparation models by how each is usually structured, so you can check the comparison against any provider's own current pricing.
How we compare (methodology). For each model below we list what the fee typically covers, drawn from two sources: the publicly observable way each model is sold — private tutoring billed per hour, in-centre cram courses sold as a fixed block of weeks before the exam, and our own per-course subscription — and Braintree Coaching Australia's published inclusions on each course page. We have deliberately left the dollar figures out rather than estimate another provider's price. To use the frame, take each provider's current published fee from their own website, work out how many months of access and how many practice sets and mock tests it includes, and divide — then compare like for like.
| Preparation model | How it is usually sold | What the fee typically covers | Practice sets and mock tests | Worked solutions written by teachers |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Private tutor (generic) | Per hour | The tutored hours you book | Rarely bundled | Depends on the individual tutor |
| In-centre cram course | Fixed block of weeks before the exam | Class time within that block | Sometimes, for the block only | Sometimes |
| Braintree Coaching Australia | One subscription per course | Classes or recordings for the full subscription period, for the enrolled child | Included for the whole subscription | Included |
A per-hour or per-week price that ends the week before the exam can work out dearer per unit of real practice than a subscription that runs for the stated period. The point is not that a cheaper option is worse — it is that "included for the whole subscription" and "billed by the hour" are different products. Sit a free mock test and browse the course catalogue so you are comparing what each dollar buys, not two headline numbers side by side.
How do monthly payment plans work?
A payment plan lets you pay for an eligible course in scheduled instalments instead of one upfront amount. Where a course offers one:
- The total is the same. Instalments cost the same as paying upfront — no interest, no payment-plan surcharge.
- The schedule is shown first. The number of instalments, each amount and the dates appear before you agree.
- Access follows the plan. Your child's access continues while instalments are paid on time.
If a third-party "buy now, pay later" provider handles the instalments, that provider's own terms also apply to your arrangement with them, and Braintree Coaching Australia still receives the same total fee. Full detail is in the Pricing & Payment Policy.
Can you get a refund, or pause a course?
Every course gives you free mock tests so you can judge our teaching and question quality before you spend anything. Because digital study material cannot be returned once opened, we do not refund a change of mind after purchased content has been substantially accessed. As a goodwill gesture, a refund request made within seven days of purchase may still be approved where very little of the course has been used (under 20% accessed, no more than two paid tests or lessons attempted, and nothing submitted for marking). Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law — a remedy when content is faulty, not as described, or not fit for its stated purpose — always apply on top of this. The full terms are in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
We do not currently advertise a general pause-and-resume on course access. If your family's circumstances change part-way through a subscription, email support@braintreecoaching.com.au and we will help where we can.
Do you offer sibling or loyalty discounts?
We handle multi-child and returning-family arrangements case by case rather than publishing a fixed sibling or loyalty percentage. If you are enrolling more than one child, or your family has studied with us before, email support@braintreecoaching.com.au before you enrol and we will tell you what is available for your situation.
