Complete the first few tests without preparation. Review every solution carefully — the explanations show how to identify poetic devices, interpret figurative language, and draw inferences from implied meaning. Note which question types are most challenging: device identification, tone analysis, or inference questions.
Work through the tests progressively — they increase in difficulty. After each test, study the solutions even for questions answered correctly. The explanations model the close-reading approach needed for exam conditions: identifying what the poet is doing (technique), why (purpose), and what effect it creates (impact on the reader).
